Thank you for the information about Huntsville. I have a very good friend who has family back there, and was going through financial hard times here in California, and generally just not doing much of anything. Her cat Charlie Murphy made IKOTW once, just so you know who I'm talking about. Well she had to drive back East to help her erstwhile boyfriend, and ended up back in Huntsville in the hospital with a carotid aneurysm that required brain surgery. She's OK now, and playing her violin again (she's a symphony-level violinist) and thinking about going back to school to become a music therapist, or maybe a nurse. Anyway, I'm thrilled for her, but ambivalent about her living in Alabama, although I've known for some time that's where she should be. Now that you've told me what Huntsville is like, I can finally get 100% behind her finally doing the right thing. Her mom runs the largest music store for hundreds of miles there and her dad is a retired symphony conductor, so I've been politely failing to push her in that direction for a couple of years now, but that BS is all over with. So again, thank you.
