Thank you, thank you, for all the kind birthday wishes.
As my darling husband Driftglass says, it's a milestone because we have ten fingers and ten toes.
I'll spend the day knitting and reading (heaven), then out to dinner at "our place."
We're off to a knitting convention in Indianapolis this weekend. So I have a great week planned.
[Happy Birthday to my mom, who was born today also. It's always a special time to exchange "same day birthday" wishes.]
Thanks again for all the kind wishes. I'm so grateful for all my internet and f2f friends. xoxoxo

Happy Birthday to me and all my fellow July Birthday Buddies

Orly always thinks you're saying "birther day" because it's always about HER. :D
A great many bloggers and former bloggers have birthdays in July. This is the birthday of yours truly, who shares a bday with her sainted mother.
Happy Birthday, Mom, and a very happy birthday to all my July birthday friends. This is the last weekend before kids start returning from their summer travels.

My Birthday, the final day of the fundraiser, and an @maddow mention
People love the #Maddow reference in this video. I don't blame them.
Thank you so much to those of you who've wished me well via Facebook, Twitter, and email. And to those of you who've said "Keep it up, Blue Gal" with a contribution to this blog, words can't say thanks enough. xxx
Podcast will be posted momentarily.

Thank you.
Thanks to BW for the image. It's been a tough year but today is a wonderful day. Thanks for all your kind words and messages, folks!
And just in time the New York Fraking Times wrote up the town where I'll be for the next week or so (minus reliable internet, be warned.) I'm under strict instructions to, quote:
"let yourself off the hook more than you usually do."
So I'll be doin' that.
Update: Sherry asks, was there cake?

Not shown: three frosting roses of which Mommy got none. :)
