Jones Cola has released "limited edition" Candidate Colas (and yeah, I think the Hillary bottles are for-sure collectibles if you want to "collect" carbonated beverage containers). Some visitors to the website are upset that there is no Ron Paul Cola, and I was tempted to have a photoshop contest to make a bottle for Ron and his followers, but really it's just too easy.

Ron Paul and his libertarian ideology is beloved by people raised in GOP households and firmly in moderate rebellion mode.
ReplyDeleteTrue rebellion would be to vote Democratic, and that's just a little too radical for them.
That's the South for you, when voting Libertarian is a form of safe social protest.

"Pure McCain Cola" suggests the contents inside are rather flat and fizz-free, but I guess that sums up McCain '08, doesn't it?

ReplyDeleteI'm sure a Ron Paul soda would try to taste different, and would advertise that its flavor is more authentic, but would end up not being able to be as good as it claims to be.
Sad thing how our so-called "democracy" works...
