Glad there's still a resource for unmitigated fug.
Quote of the day for the GOP:
"One of the primary symptoms of breakdown is an inability to cope."
Does anybody else feel like we're watching a train wreck? In slow motion?
HEY! Knitting and politics - that's MY beat.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the train wreck analogy goes, I still wouldn't put it past the Dems to station themselves in front of that train, no matter how slow it's moving.
Any word on whether that's available in black licorice?
ReplyDeleteFor us Plain dressers, you know.
anybody else feeling immense satisfaction watching said train wreck? i normally don't take glee in folk's demise- but in this case- i am indulging. then- back to business.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying watching that train wreck increase in speed before our eyes.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I'm enjoying it, but some of the backlash is sounding mighty smarmy: we're heading into "blame the victim" land, I fear...
ReplyDeleteTrain wreck? Oh God I hope so. Has this country done anything good since Republicans took over a decade ago?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this train wreck stuff makes a whole lot more people to come out and vote these idjits out of office!!! For good!
ReplyDelete(Of course, they'd probably just claim "hanging chads" and declare a victory, anyway.)
That pattern was in knitty.com's summer issue, "Sex and the Knitty," (I forget which year). It's a little embarassing that I know that off the top of my head, but knitted licorice panties have a way of sticking with you.
