One small note on a neglected aphorism, one of my favorites - "Conservatism cannot fail, it can only be failed" - Classic projection of inverted collectivist dogma.Otherwise, 'silent but deadly'.Pretense first, politics after;>)
Excellent film, Blue Gal! I love all of the old footage. (Especially the part about the cake.)
Very clever adaptation, Fran!I could still be stuck in first gear, it's early, but I didn't finish some early captions before they disappeared; eg, "Krystal gave me the map". . . Oh my ears and whiskers. . . And it's probably a "doh!" moment for me, but I don't get "McCain Points, attack!" Maybe: "McCain Cards, Attack!"?Re: the WR's first quip: I was a kid when I saw the Disney version, and the White Wabbit singing, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important DATE!" was burned into my brain (and millions of other boomers) because it rhymed; you could put (2012) after it. Using the familiar in a new way is always good.Anyway. You have the nack; keep at it!
Blue Gal...that is soooo funny! Great job. You captured perfectly the unreality of Sarah Palin and the Repugnican party! Thanks for your hard work!Jacob (Aka L. A.)@, can I say, Contextual Criticism?
You put in so much work on this--amazingly funny!
Kudos on your superb short silent on sassy Sarah.
Awesome from start to finish.
