Lake Superior State University's Word Banishment Committee has issued its list of words to be banned in 2010 (staycation, sexting, maverick) and so has Driftglass (monetize, proactive, center/right). May I humbly ask that the blogs do whatever they can to promote the use of the following phrase of art in 2010?
...you are being shagged by the rare parrot.

I expect this to have a defined political meaning by month's end, people. That is all.

ReplyDeleteWell, John Cleese compared Sarah Palin to a parrot, and she's rare in the sense of being half-baked... Also, every time I hear her speak it feels like my brain is being shagged by something... No, this is too good to waste on her.
