Gotta hand it to the South Carolina Tourism Board

All of a sudden, they've got the toughest sell in the world. Nope, you couldn't pay me enough, Myrtle Beach.

  6. Carol A.2:59 PM

Yes, Rep."Joe" "You lie!" Wilson has recently joined South Carolina's Triumverate of Shame(Gov. Mark "Hiking the Appalachian Trail" Sanford, Sen. Lindsay "offended by Obama's tone" Graham and Sen. Jim "Obama's Waterloo" DeMint), but not all South Carolinians belong to the loud psycho-talk, rabid right wingnut, wacko conservative, gun-toting, Obama-hating fringe. As more Democratic retirees and transplants locate to the Carolina coast, change is coming like a freight train!

  7. Having spent eight days campaigning for Obama in the Myrtle Beach area, I agree with Carol A.

  8. My Mother-in-Law lives there. When we visited her over the summer, Faux News was blaring out of every TV set in every bank, pharmacy, and casual restaurant in every place we visited. There was a tea party while we were there, and it had nothing to do with Alice in Wonderland. Let me tell you, this was the most RED state I think I've ever been in, and I live in the South!

But I ain't giving up Myrtle. Well, maybe Myrtle Beach proper, but I could definitely hang in Murrell's Inlet!
