Glenn Beck sells a "Remember September 11th" poster, with HIS picture on it. This is the same guy that said, "But the second thought I had when I saw these people and they had to shut down the Astrodome and lock it down, I thought: I didn't think I could hate victims faster than the 9-11 victims." (Media Matters).
So Beck says that he hates the 9-11 victims, but feels strongly that he is something of a spokesman or symbol to explain 9-11 to his fans, at least enough to commission the artwork for the poster he sells. I would say that his message is a little confused, to say the least.
As strange as the poster may seem, I am not even sure that I can properly explain this next item. It is a Christmas ornament festooned with a picture of a child and some animals around a Christmas tree, cringing in horror at the sight of a nuclear explosion. on the back of the ornament is Beck's company logo.
Glenn Beck is definitely underrated as one of the many insults to mankind that exist on television. He is probably at least as twisted as Bill O'Reilly.
Explain to me, oh educated members of BG's tribe, how it is that THIS comment is not seen as being as offensive as anything Don Imus ever said during his pathetic career. What am I missing?
Why is this raving lunatic still allowed to slobber all over a network microphone every day? Where's the outrage?

There are a lot of sick, creepy and evil hate spewers on right-wing radio. But to me, Beck is the creepiest of all. I stopped watching CNN after they hired this bigot. Beck once called Cindy Sheehan a "slut". Read about it here: http://www.beggarscanbechoosers.com/2006/05/why-is-cnn-dignifying-glenn-beck-bigot.html
I urge everyone to boycott any sponsor of any program on which this evil, sick f*ck appears.
he is a creepy man, even moreso because he looks so average.
ReplyDeletejust like the guy next door. you know, the one the cops finally arrest!
he is also arrogant and nasty, but that's for another day.
Ditto ...

I am so happy to first learn of glen beck from Bluegal
ReplyDeleteDr. Z beat me to it. I posted last year on Mr. Beck, and the Xmas ornament.
ReplyDeleteI think it is worth noting, too, that he questioned Keith Ellison's loyalty (Ellison being the only muslim in congress).
Beck is a shiny, shiny star.

My first exposure to Glenn Beck was flipping through the channels one weekday afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI was like, wow, this guy is really angry and stupid, and I thought the show was a farce. Then I found out he was being serious.
How is he still on the air?!?
Mr. Beck, like the 747, used to hail from Everett, WA.

He's in good ccompany. Michelle Malkin had enough of us hippies and left the Seattle Times years ago never to return.
Beck's ratings are in the toliet but now ABC has picked him up as a commenator.
ReplyDeleteYour liberal media at work.

But on a more serious note, I lurves me some Jonathen Richmond ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry to BE an asshole (I'm only 5'6" and far too many have resisted my stare) but the man's last name is RICHMAN.
ReplyDeleteIt'a a Jewish thing, you wouldn't understand.
Citizen Cope's PABLO PICASSO (an entirely different song) is really good, too, as is all of his stuff.
See ya.
