It's been obvious for some time that Hillary is the weakest of the Dem candidates outside of the party. While Edwards and Obama (especially Edwards) poll as double digit winners over any of the Rethug candidates, Clinton is always within the margin of error. One assumes that's 'cause the broader electorate see her as more of the same destructive conservative leadership we've been subjected to over the past couple of decades. It doesn't appear that dems have the smarts to support the change the country demands and nominate an easy winner, but will, instead keep their heads in the sand and go with business (corporate interests) as usual.
Well, when Homer Simpson is endorsed by someone and you're not, I think it's time to bring out the big guns.
ReplyDeleteMore of Bill on the campaign trail?
Will she or won't she?
P.S. loved the Picasso reference in the last post. I haven't heard that song in years!
I would endorse her to be a smart ass, but I just can't.
ReplyDeleteThat search will work way better if she gets the nomination.
Nada for "I endorse Pat Paulsen", but his blog is still up, so it's a hopeful sign...even if he is dead.

ReplyDeleteEvil Spock got a chuckle, but then Evil Spock typed "I endorse Evil Spock".
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, going to drink myself into oblivion and then gorge on leftover Mexican food.
Equally interesting is what happens when you remove the quotes.
ReplyDeleteI endorse Dennis Kucinich = 230,000
I endorse Fred Thompson = 711,000
I endorse Homer Simpson = 120,000
I endorse Hillary Clinton = 1,030,000
The Hillary block party in DC drew a huge crowd yesterday -- regardless of what you will read in the Washington Post.

I think this entire thing is unfair to Homer Simpson. He isn't running for anything. It shouldn't matter that he only go one endorsment.
ReplyDeleteHmm. "I endorse John Edwards" drew a zero, too, as did "I endorse Al Gore". But maybe I'm taking this whole thing too seriously ;)
