Dear Chicago:

Your temperature is missing a digit.

(I hope it warms up for you really, really soon. xoxo)

  1. Downright toasty here compared to there.

  2. I wonder who will be the first right winger to cite the big freeze in Chicago as "evidence" that there is no global warming.

My bets are on Sean Hannity, Brit Hume or John Gibson.

Hey, we could use some warm weather here in NYC. Ok, in fairness it was an unseasonable 67 degrees last week, but still....in the twenties and windy. Tomorrow, snow and rain. Yeah, it's the winter and I shouldn't complain.

Just a standard winter cold snap here -- it's over already.

Cold isn't more than an inconvenience unless you're poor, homeless or disadvantaged. Then it's brutal and truly life changing.

The tail end of winter is a good time to remember that those folks still need help.
