I'm not saying I'm going to do it for real....

...but if you're a fed-up blogger user, it's really easy to move your blog to Wordpress. Really Really Really Easy.

  2. i haven't had any issues with blogger for the most part. i can't bring myself to be bothered with the separate server and actually having to know basic code- so, here i am still :) i know quite a few who have word press and have done some amazing things- so i say- play around with it and go for it if you love it.:)

I'm still addicted to Movable Type, but then again, I like messing with code and server stuff.

For what it's worth I wanted to do a quick drop by in the middle of the current mess and let you know that I've given you a blog award. Not sure you like such things, but know it was given with sincere appreciation for all the times you've gotten me riled, made me laugh, or otherwise gave me something to think about.

FWIW, the only regret I had about switching to Wordpress was that I didn't do it sooner.

Blogger became such a headache that I switched a year and a half ago.

  5. blogger seems to have healed itself, at least as far as my blog and steveaudio goes.

how much code does one need to know to work on word press?

more to the point, how much money does one have to spend?

  6. but now another goofy bug is spreading thru blogtopia and yes, i coined that phrase.

sitemeter, the traffic counter, is kerblooey, and any blog w/sitemeter code is not able to be viewed by internet explorer.

however, firefox has no problem viewing such sites.

if you have such code, remove it, and the problem will be solved.

but if you don't care, then don't.

  8. Wordpress always gives me fits trying to embed video, so I'm staying where I am until it gives me major problems.

  9. I agree with Kevin, if I could get my videos with me over there, then I would go today. Well, not today, but next week, when I'm not so busy.

I really look forward to hearing what you have to say. I do moderate comments, but non-spam comments will take less than 24 hours to appear... Thanks!
