Katrina Anniversary

Suspect Device
posted this terrific image to commemorate today (and Bush's visit to NOLA, heh.) h/t Online Blogintegrity.

Anyone in this entire country and those in particular who type "everything's fine here" are liars. And Republicans who apologize to their constituents for admitting their guilt are demoted two more levels in Dante's hell, imho.

Oh shoot now I'm in a bad mood. Better go knit.

"Knit on, with confidence and hope, through all crises." --Elizabeth Zimmermann, 1910-1999. She wrote that during the Watergate hearings, which, I hear, was really good knitting time.

    QUACKER DAVE,

THANK YOU FOR PROVING THAT YOU LIBARDS CAN'T THINK!!!!

YOU CAN'T ADDRESS HARD FACTS, SO YOU SWEAR AND CURSE.

    HOW PATHETIC!!!!

  8. Ralph,

Your comments make NO sense. I am sure you realize that as you have decided that the liberals can't think, but really you are making no sense here. Now if you want to post something that made sense I am sure some of us would be more than willing to try and communicate with you, but I can't communicate with a troll who does not posses coherent thoughts. I know for a fact that Quaker Dave loves baseball, so why you include that as something we hate makes no sense. See we liberals can post something with no swearing.

  9. Yes, but I can spell and I do know the correct usage of capital letters and punctuation marks.

And I didn't name-call, which, if you check back to your first comment, is all you did.

I'm still looking for the part where you did any "thinking," except for your rather creative spelling there. Maybe you could help us understand: what "thoughts" are there, really? What "facts" did YOU use, pray tell?

And believe me, brother, if I wanted to swear here, I could've cussed up a blue streak. But, see, some of us have some respect for these here premises. We prefer not to spit on Blue Gal's floor.

    *QUACK!!!*

  12. Somebody's upset.... personally I love America and it really hurts me to see what the incompetence of modern Republicanism has done to it.

Real Americans want America back from the rightests, and dipping the flag is a traditional way of showing distress. I was admiring this picture on one of the BLOGS cited just yesterday, and now I fell compelled to purloin and post on my site.... Things aren't "ok" here. The New York Times published an editorial today providing great amplification for Blue Gal's article  on Liars yesterday: Link

I also think El Gato Negro is cute, and if I was actually an embodied cyberspirit I'd give the kitty a nice pat on the head..... scratch behind the ears maybe. Link

i need more time to think
when they ask me what i've seen i'll say saturn and soliloquies
walden pond, hypocrisy, tetris, and insanity
debt and dope and apathy, ode to joy and pool parties
smooch and run and ancestry, arthur ashe and manatees
    sailboats, necessity, lepidopterology
the cave of time, dignity, cirque du soleil and lethargy
surface area, rosaries, fair is fair and billie jean
vonnegut at the university, karmic retribution and bigotry
thyroglossal duct cysts, celibacy, love on the rocks, anonymity

I have to admit that this is one of the funniest comebacks I've heard in quite some time! Thank goodness I had just finished swallowing my coffee or I'd be cleaning up one hell of a mess right about now.
I needed to laugh at that particular moment and you delivered my friend. Thank you.

  14. the one thing i noticed along with naming the fox propagandists was the naming of televangilists.

so, i have a grand idea for you ralph:

why don't you put your money where your mouth and heart are and sell your computer and send the money to hagee or joyce meyers...

  15. OMG I thought that Ralph guy was just kidding, but he was (brain-)dead serious. His avatar is that ridiculous "art" of Bush supposedly praying with the ghosts of Lincoln and Washington! As if Bush actually prays--he doesn't even attend a church, and the only things he worships are power and money. Ralph is one sad and ignorant mofo. Pity him.

  16. I don't even begin to know how to respond to Ralph's rant. I surely wish I got the same kind of amusing wingnuts over at my place.

The last one I got was trying to save my soul. Little does she know I'm already a Christian.

  17. Hey, Ralph! The Phils WON!

And dude, your blog is AWESOME!!! So many CAPITALS and !!!!'s! I got a MIGRAINE just READING IT!

    Can WE be BFF'S???

  18. Guys, there's a big debate at one of the bigger blogs, ahem, as to whether "Ralph" is for real, or is a malicious troublemaker fake. Since it's up for debate and will take up the time of both readers responding to him and sitemonitors, they've banned him. FYI.

What's the difference between a "malicious troublemaker fake" and a rabid, slobbering troll? If you visit his "blog," (latex gloves recommended), you'll find similar rantings and outright obscenity.

Either way, he's a sad, troubled soul.

I really look forward to hearing what you have to say. I do moderate comments, but non-spam comments will take less than 24 hours to appear... Thanks!
