  1. Loud applause. And many tears.

    Simply a beautiful message.

    And so true.

That's powerful stuff, and very, very, very, well, I ALMOST said bitchen, and caught myself.

It's powerful stuff. That works for me.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Simple is as simple does.

I got $10 for that, any day.

  3. This is excellent, and so very true. Save a girl/woman and you can save the world.

I never cease to be amazed at the power of girls/women. When you think of the shit so many girls and women face every day, and yet they (we) are so resilient it makes me wonder what COULD be accomplished with just a little encouragement ... or even just a little less shit (I think this is my word for the day).

  4. pushover.

In order to come true, girls will need to shove the skanks (coulter, malkin) and harpies (long list...)
    out of their way.

They'll need to overcome their nemesis without becoming the nemesis.

I have no doubt that they will, eventually, put everyone in their rightful place while maintaining the ultimate altruism of their causes.

I do have doubts whether eventually will be in time.

Hope you don't mind if all of us here who have blogs post this. Maybe we should all do it THIS WEEKEND.

Then I'll write a check. Might also be a great fundraiser for my kids next September.

Thanks very much for this. it's inspiring.

15 countries, including Canada, and the United States, have national organizations for Foster Parents Plan, helping to support children in 45 countries, to go to school, for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day (in Canada it's $35 a month). I learned a few years ago, that in many communities in Africa, children can't attend school without a school uniform and are even chased away if they try to go to school without a uniform. Often girls don't get the opportunity to attend school that boys get, without support of an organization like Foster Parents Plan. The website address is www.fosterparentsplan.ca
The children may be living with family members, but not able to do all the things in this video, without extra support.
The video is a good one, and very effective.

HOLY CRAP, that was awesome! I'm a dude, and what's more a dude who knows the value of women as being essential to our continued existence. And that shit had to be made by a girl, because I seriously doubt that a -=modern=- man could be so eloquent in the telling of a story that isn't about his genitalia in some way. [/self-deprecation] ;P No, but seriously -- that is one of the best videos I have found in my daily blog scroll that I have seen in a long time... If only we saw television commercials with this kind of theme instead of the crap like the 'Quizzzzno's Girl' growling lustfully at a sandwich... my poor little sense of self-respect can only handle so much blatant baiting of my libido before I have to turn off the TV, hehe. Save us, ladies.. and maybe we can spare the time to save your soul sistah, Mother Earth?
