  1. The entire McBush/Palin ticket is absurd. It's a mockery of our American Democracy. They can't have a seriouc debate because they've got nothing.

How many people saw the clip you have here vs. how many folks saw this ad which is running in heavy rotation?:

    You know the answer.

He's taking the high ground to no where, fast.

I hate to say this, but unless something dramatic happens, he's going to lose.

    Because people are stupid.

  4. Thank you for posting this.

But I agree: "He's taking the high road to nowhere fast."

He needs to be firey, and he's not.

  5. Of course the High ground is wonderful ... but at the same time his opponent will not go there. Instead, McCain will torpedo at a base level... lots of smear, lots of lies.

Will the foolish and self-indulgent get Obama's message? Only if it becomes clever sound bites.

Many of the people who vote for McCain are the same suckers that bet on street corner Three Card Monty con games.

  6. I believe, um, think he's doing exactly the right thing, staying on message, looking smart and reasonable. And I got the sense that his indignation was presenting more as anger than as defensiveness; he looked strong, as if one would be ill advised to really piss him off.

I suggest we cut Joe Biden loose with the tit-for-tat hand-to-hand combat and do our best to make SURE the M$M covers the debunking of myths and fabrications and the outing of overt lies.

(Odd how I'm no longer comfortable using the word "believe" in a political context.)

(and yes, I accept that "cut[ing] Joe Biden loose" carries some risk. I'll be satisfied if his handlers give him a long leash.)
